Chef Michael Schwartz believes the genesis of a great dish starts with using the best possible ingredients available. His accessible cooking has made him one of South Florida's most acclaimed chefs, winning last year's James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: South.
This week, the chef and owner of Michael's Genuine Food and Drink in Miami and Grand Cayman, releases his first cookbook. "Michael's Genuine Food" offers simple recipes based on seasonal ingredients or as the title says "Down-to-Earth Cooking for People Who Love to Eat."
