EBISU (YEBISU) BEER

Brewed by Sapporo, its origins date back to 1887, when Nippon Beer Brewery started producing beer in the area then called Mita Village. The name "Yebisu" was later adopted in slightly altered form to designate the station, and "Ebisu" has since become familiar to many as the name of the surrounding town.
