Serrano Ham and Tomato Bread Rolls

Courtesy of chef Jesús Nuñez of Graffit

Here is a quick and easy way to take a traditional Spanish dish, which is bread, tomato and Serrano ham, and turn it into a delicious appetizer.

Yield

Serves 6 rolls

Ingredients

- 1/3 pound of ciabbata bread

- 6 tomatoes

- 6 slices Serrano ham

- Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

1. Take ciabbata bread cut it into tiny cubes - the size of your pinkie nail.

2. Do the same with six tomatoes.

3. Mix both ingredients together to make a paste.

4. Grab a slice of Serrano ham and put a tablespoon of the bread-tomato mixture on one end of the slice.

5. Roll the rest of the ham slice over the bread-tomato mixture so that it wraps around.

6. Finish off with a few drops of extra virgin olive oil.
