They spin like a roulette wheel with the odds in your favor. The just released Roulette Whisky Tumblers are handmade crystal glasses designed with such precision and craftsmanship that they twirl on their axis. The purpose of the glass is both form and function with built-in entertainment to please your inner child while sipping an adult beverage. Scotch whisky purists who vow that ice shouldn't be anywhere near a single malt may cringe a tad, but the spinning of the glass produces just the right friction to melt the ice. The glass is not a gimmick, but the brainchild of designer Renato Cantoni, who believes glassware should be both beautiful and highly functional. He created a company, Clearly Art, devoted to making unique and elegant handblown wine and spirits glasses, and decanters. No two are alike. His popular glass, the Brunello Technico, features an indentation that brings out the aroma of the wine when swirled, essentially a decanter in a glass.
