BALDWIN BARMACIE

Created all-white (or off-white and beige), except for one orange banquette, to create a pharmacy-like environment as a tribute to  the owner’s grandmother, who worked in a local pharmacy. Recommended by Joe Beef chef/co-owner David McMillan for a late night cocktail. Expect loud music, great cocktails, and a bit of a scene.

PULLMAN WINE BAR

Focused on their wine, they also serve some small plates of food to accompany it. This is the place to drop in for a snack and a glass of wine - the real definition of a wine bar. They have won awards for their design which mixes modernism and eccentricity. Recommended by Joe Beef chef/co-owner David McMillan for it’s “killer wine list.”

CAFE MYRIADE

According to the owners of The Sparrow, they take their coffee seriously. “The owner, Anthony, is one of the top baristas in the country and a great person.” They also supply coffee to some of the well known restaurants in Montreal, including: Joe Beef, La Salle A Manger, Les Trois Petits Bouchons, Olive + Gourmondo, and The Sparrow.

OLIMPICO CAFE

Located in Mile End, it’s an institution in Montreal’s coffee scene. It has an old school feel to it and you’ll sense the locals vibe. They are known for their lattes.

OLIVE + GOURMONDO

A small, casual spot in Vieux Montreal that’s perfect for a quick bite or a break in the afternoon. Stop in for a coffee, tea, or a snack after walking around all day.
