Joanne Hendricks Cookbook Joanne Hendricks Cookbook Joanne Hedricks Cookbook

Rare and hard-to-find may sound like an obsolete notion these days, but to Joanne Hendricks it's her bread and butter. For the past fifteen years, she's been selling an eclectic mixture of out-of-print cookbooks, unusual tableware, vintage menus, classic cocktail books, and other odds and ends out of a 1850's townhouse in West Soho.

And while she's wired for people shopping electronically, her foot traffic brings in an impressive roster of world class chefs.

Here's a sample of what she currently has in her stacks.

This chefs' bible is the ultimate cooking encyclopedia. $225.

GERTRUDE STEIN: TENDER BUTTONS OBJECTS / FOOD / ROOMS (1914)
