Berkshires Terroir
The Berkshires

It's where the Gilded Age meets Green Acres... a bit of fancy schmancy and a lot of fertile farms.

Mezze Bistro + Bar in Williamstown, and sister restaurant Allium in Great Barrington, take full advantage of their Western Massachusetts setting. They buy their ingredients from regional, sustainable farms, and craft beers and spirits from local producers.

If you're heading to the Berkshires for some autumn leaf-peeping, go where the locals go. Here are some suggestions from Mezze Bistro + Bar owner Nancy Thomas and chef Joji Sumi.
