Upper West Side - New York, NY

Q & A with Chef Tom Valenti

Q. For people who haven’t visited Ouest, can you give us a quick description?

A. Haut comfort food, great neighborhood vibe, yet the clientele is interesting and varied.

Q. After being open for ten years, what are some of the key ways you stay relevant and how has the food evolved over the past decade?

A. Relevant means identifying all surroundings: including eating trends, habits of guests, economic change, and changes in the neighborhood.
