THE AUBREY

Santiago’s first five-star boutique hotel, located in the heart of Bohemian Bellavista, is truly an urban oasis tucked in the dense, green vegetation covering Santiago’s towering San Cristóbal hill. Housed in a restored historic mansion dating back to 1932, this hotel and its 15 rooms were completely transformed into en-suite bedrooms. Each room boasts a unique character with balconies and terraces and nostalgic chic decor. The old Mission-style outdoor patio terraces overlook exotic landscaped gardens. Guests can relax by the heated Jacuzzi swimming pool and, for much of the year, enjoy alfresco dining under Santiago’s warm sun. Steps away is the bohemian, artistic neighborhood of Bellavista with fine dining, artist ateliers, and in walking distance of the downtown area. So hip, so laid back, some guests don’t even want to leave the hotel. To boot, The Aubrey is also home to the Santiago outpost of the sublime restaurant, Pasta E Vino. Perennially full and impossible to score reservations without a month’s notice, guests have access to a handful of the restaurant’s top tables every night.
