This little brit shop has been in business in the village since July 4th, 1985. Peter and Irene Myers decided they would open a shop to meet the needs of the then 250,000 expats living in the tri-state area. I have no idea what that number is today, but they all seem to know about Myers. If you need home-made pies, such as pork, steak, kidney, shepherd’s, or cornish pasties, this is the place to get them.
In addition to the meat, you’ll find candy, tea (PG Tips), and basically everything that will remind of you growing up in the old country, or at least from your vacation to London. And don’t forget those uniquely British items such as Gentleman's Relish Patum Peperium, Branston Pickle, Tasty Piccalilli with Mustard, Marmite, and Ribena. If you can remember the creative PG Tips commercials growing up, you should visit this shop. Just for old times sake, here’s one from 1971; it’s true, they just don’t make ‘em like they used to.
