Chef Ted Prater grew up in South Florida, attended Culinary School at the Art Institute of Atlanta, and has cooked all around the Southeastern United States, including Nashville, Knoxville and now Austin. At Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden, he’s cooking food that pairs with their sizable beer list. I really like chef Bryce Gilmore’s style of cooking. His menu constantly changes and he makes a lot of unique stuff. When it’s on the tasting menu, I really love the charcuterie plate. He makes one of the best head cheeses I’ve ever tasted.
